I'm a bit of a trail freak.I started off running on the road and struggled with the tediousness of it. It wasn't until I started coaching with Adventure Running Kids that I really discovered the exhilaration of trail running and the importance of consistent training. I'm reasonable with a compass and a map. But I still can get lost in a race. My biggest strengths are one part agility (think technical, gnarly, downhill singletrack) and one part persistence (I don't know how to quit). I'm always looking for a new goal or destination race. My favourite local races include The North Face Endurance Challenge, Sulphur Springs and Iroquoia Trail Test. But I left my heart at Squamish 50.
